Hello, I’m Geoff Shinn, owner of HomeGeneral. I was raised in the construction industry, starting out building garages with my father at a young age. Over 35 years I worked my way through large home exterior corporations, trained hundreds of home improvement specialists, and managed several franchises across the region.
Everywhere I went, one thing stood out: there had to be a better way to serve homeowners. I founded HomeGeneral in 2018 to close that gap. We bring better-engineered products to Nebraska and Iowa homeowners for far less than what the largest companies charge, and we back every project with a lifetime warranty on our workmanship.
